Our superior line of microsuede fabric is highly stain resistant, fade resistant and durable enough to stand up to daily machine washings if necessary. The fabric is synthetic, not organic. For you organic lovers out there, please keep in mind that this fabric is much better suited to the purpose of a floor play mat than an organic fabric. Why synthetic? Because the fabric is very durable and densly woven, much more so than a typical organic fabric. Due to the density of the weave, dirt has a hard time getting embedded in the fibers, thus making the fabric inherently stain resistant and much cleaner for your baby. Next time you walk through a furniture store, take a look around -you will see a multitude of items made with microsuede for this exact reason. Thanks to the quality of our fabric, it also enables you to machine wash the play mat as often as you like without losing or diminishing the fabric qualities that help keep the mat skid resistant, firm and amply padded for your babies safety. Even if you are trying to go all organic with your baby, this is one exception you should absolutely make.

Washing Instructions
This item is made with babies in mind -you can machine wash it as often as you want. In between washing, spot clean with a wet sponge and warm water. The fabric is highly fade and stain resistant and should hold up well to repeat machine washing cycles -washing up like new every time.

Machine wash warm with like colors / tumble dry, medium heat.
Okay to treat with stain removal sprays like Shout, Oxiclean, etc.
